Rescuing the mountain rescue - a rapid Drupal deployment

The challenge in this project was to build a Drupal site for Langdale Mountain Rescue and complete the job in a weekend.  Fortunately, Pilot Internet was only part of the development team as the project was delivered by the combined strength of the Drupal groups for Yorkshire and the North-west.  Here's what they come up with visually:

Functionally, the main challenge was importing over thirty years of rescue incident reports.  no problem from a Drupal perspective as paged views doesn't care whether it's dealing with 10 or 10,000 records but migrating legacy data is one of those tedious tasks that never turns out to be as easy as you'd expect.  Fortunately, this was a volunteer project, and here's the first fruit of all that labour:
